Allah expects Muslims to take care of their bodies to the best of their abilities. Obesity, weakness, and physical laziness are blameworthy afflictions. Though death very well may overtake us today or tomorrow, we should physically prepare ourselves to worship Allah in our old age, should He give us long lives.
.. May Allah (swt) guide u and bless u !!
“Any action without the remembrance of Allah is either a diversion or heedlessness excepting four acts: Walking from target to target [during archery practice], training a horse, playing with one’s family, and learning to swim.”
Husbands and wives can exercise and play together. This is a good way of building love and happiness together. The Prophet’s wife `Aisha said:
“I raced with the Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) and beat him in the race. Later, when I had put on some weight, we raced again and he won. Then he said, ‘This cancels that,’ referring to the previous occasion.”
i am fit Alhumdulilah
Salam for you.I agree with you that it is important the fitness and physical strength relating to the believers and the final revelation of God
My current fitness regime is jogging evryday for half an hour in the mrning and make non mandatory prayer for at least 11 raka’ats before the mandatory prayer of shubuh .My prayers and jogging will maintain my health.I am not fat and alhamdulillah I always feel fit.
Are you trying to be a sheikh to get that fat? HAHAHA!
Your body is gift from Allah everything you have been given will interceed upon you on the final day.
Your entire body will testify for you or against you.
If your fat and die fat, your skin will testify and your heart crying to Allah saying “Look what this person made me do Allah!!!!!!”
Strong and fit and ready for Jihad anytime. A person qualfies as physically fit when they reach their break point and find more energy reserved.
It is Sunnah of the prophet to maintain a healthy lifestyle, be sportive and athletic. And even if I made that line up right there (which I did), then I know I am not mistaken because the Prophet asks us to do what is best for us, and also because Allah’s Slave has provided for me a good example. =)
I am a runner. I run long, I run far. I run to reduce stress, I run to stay fit. I play basketball and Surf. I lift weights twice a week.

It’s important but everyone neglects it because they think they’re too religious while being lazy to move themselves. Exercise is a part of religion, get used to it.
