Hi, there my name is Jason, and i recently acquired a personal fitness trainer, who I really like as person. I see him several times per week. I would really like to get to know him a little better, and maybe be friends or something although he is way older than me. I would really like to keep him for 5, 10, 20 years if possible as my trainer, based on that alone could we become close to eachother? He is a really nice guy, and i enjoy when its our training sessions. We however are still in the getting to know phase, as I just started with him a few weeks ago. Could i possibly keep him as my trainer, for years to come if I wanted to. Would we become close? Any of you have personal stories?

Um, this is a weird question. Do you want to date this guy or be his friend? O_o
I’d say that if he actually stayed your trainer for 20 years you’d have some sort of close relationship, yes. But not necessary hanging out as friends outside of business relationship…

yes, if your personalities clicked, you most likely will become friends. However, you dont need to keep working with him to be friends. When you and him build up the relationship, feel free to stop going to his gym. you will still hang out after if you are friends.
